A creative studio producing and licensing original IPs
made by human
Diaries by HelenV is an independent Lisbon-based creative studio blending film, comedy, and visual storytelling.
Our mission is to build intellectual properties that entertain and inspire.
We create and license original, story-driven content across film, digital, and editorial formats.
Our main pillars are:
- Studio Catalog – in-house collection of cinematic footage covering European travel, gastronomy, lifestyle, and culture. Available on major stock footage platforms: Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Getty Images, Pond5 — as well as through exclusive content bundles and custom productions.
- Narrative Series – authored vlogs and lifestyle documentaries on people and cities, published on the studio’s YouTube channel.
- Character-Driven Comedy – skits, parodies, and scripted web series built around distinctive performance personas like Salanta.
Philosophy
We believe creative freedom is built, not given.
We stand for diversity and we mean it.
We welcome and celebrate unconventional minds and looks as part of our narrative, our team, and our circle of partners and friends.
About Helen V
Founder

Helen V is a storyteller with 20 years of experience working with visual content.
Helen majored in fashion design and grew her skill set working in media, where she produced and styled covers and editorials featuring public figures. She later transitioned into public relations and celebrity communications, serving as PR Director for a MasterChef judge and working with entertainment brands including Disney TV.
And yet something seemed missing. That’s when, in the middle of a successful career, Helen decided to pursue her passion for cinema. She began acting training, co-founded an acting studio, and was encouraged by her acting coach to apply to film school. She was accepted directly into the third year of the program.
The following year, she devoted herself to studying film directing and acting. During this time, she started taking photography assignments and worked as a food stylist for cookbooks. Soon enough, she began receiving offers to direct commercials and was cast in supporting roles in television series.
Then life took an unexpected turn. After relocating to Portugal, Helen found herself rebuilding her career from scratch in a new country, language, and professional environment. What could have been a setback became an opportunity to rethink her path and create work on her own terms.
She founded Diaries by HelenV to unite her work in storytelling, performance, filmmaking, and visual media under one creative ecosystem
